As the title say's...I am getting some sort of orangy bug doodas all over my cars not only in the day time but also over night as well. The doodas are about 1/4'' long, straight & set hard and a git to remove with water. I never see the critters but I can wash the car, go inside for a cuppa and yep! there back. I have changed the wash/wax using varying types but still the attack of turdies from aloft prevail.
I have owned cars for some 50 years + and I have never experience such an onslaught. I have no trees in the immediate area nor water. Any one else got this problem?

My Singer doesn't like the cold cold weather. I keep it garaged but she takes a lot of turning over before she coughs into life and I mean cough, splutter, fart for what seems an eternity and then - She's alive! My mates E-type is also a buggar to start when it's cold or damp. I told him to spray WD40 on the leads and electrics and as far as I know - it works.

WD 40 ...1001 uses. Back in the day, If the motor wouldn't start, I would spray a bit of WD down through the air filter into the carb ...worked every time. An old mechanic once told me that if you have a git of a car to start then remove each spark plug in turn and spray WD down each pot but quickly screw back in the spark plugs to keep the vapour inside the cylinders ...then try to start. If you have stubbon shit on your bodywork ...WD gets it off great. If your paintwork is dull then spray WD onto an old cloth and rub onto the body work ...brings it up like new (even on faded paint)...and no, on our old motors it doesn't ruin the original paint ...far from it as it leaves a layer of water proof film over it ...lasts about 2-3 weeks.

Had a chat online with an old school pal who told me of a product called Start Ya Bastard. Sounds like it works like WD40 but a lot more comical and quite a talking point. Hope the picture comes out or I'll have to ask my delinquent son to help - YUK!

Wow! Yes, I've totally forgotten about that one...I have one somewhere in the garage but haven't seen it for years...but in my garage thats not surprising as it's only the stubbon stains holding it together. anyway Rob, how is your son...behaving himself I trust?

Hi 11ovegrace - Funny you should be talking about stubbon stains - Yep, that describes my son to the hilt. Talk about Young, Dumb and well full of something - Come on, I could use a whole can of Start ya Bastard up his rear dirt box, just getting him out of the bed in the mornings + = wont be the first time he got fired.
