My mate Mick's Mustang. Imported from "A dry US State" last year. He was, "Mick the Fridge", briefly known as "Mick the Mustang" and now known as Sally. We're a cruel lot oop 'ere in't North. I suppose the nice thing about dry states is that I only had to replace the drivers side floor pan and the rotted out panel under the scuttle. Rat-look with a 5 litre V8. makes a lovely noise. He's got the lights to UK spec and just needs to sort a wheel bearing and a couple od ball joints ready for the MoT. P45.

Seemingly you are correct. I'm trying to be interested in it and not view it as a very large piece of rusty metal. Sally Mick says it came from California, so i can only assume that it's spent its life parked on the beach. Anyway, lugged the welding plant over the road to his garage to sort out a bit we'd missed. Splendidly horrible. P45.

You know how these jobs can run on? He still hasn't got it MoT'd. We have now finished the last bit, so Mick is out of excuses. We made the rear gearbox mounting this morning. Good thick chunky stuff. Propshaft now runs down the centre of the tunnel. P45.

Now (finally) MoT'd and on the road.
