She really looked like a nice example....going to miss her? Do you have another classic to replace her or what do you drive now for a daily? Remember the Renault (I think, but I'm Gar..gar) The lights on but no'ones at home and even then, the bulbs about to blow.
What ever happened to SUD 254X? The red'n was absolutely brilliant and do you still have that fantastic garage she was in? So many questions...

The Avantime was long ago sold-on and I won't go there again. It was such a problem child with me.
Unfortunately all good things come to an end as said workshop tenancy ends later this year ...in part due to the (very!) absent landlord arriving unannounced a few months ago and blowing his top. To be fair, there has been a good few years now of multiplying project vehicles, alongside stocks of engines / gearboxes / panels / heavy tools / [you get the picture!] that went way beyond what was agreed years ago. Not so much a safety risk, more of a collective pile amongst a group of fellas who attract projects and spares without really trying. I blame the Internet, as it was so much easier when Exchange & Mart had phone numbers that just rang off!
So a partial clear-out happened for the 'non-rehomeable' as just favourites are being kept back. Reasonable profit was had on a few, but more importantly many were good saves from oblivion as the majority were got back running, driving, on the road; during their time in and out of the building.
My red Princess has gone as part of it.

So, are you on the look-out for another large workshop or feel that you have done your bit and you're going to take a back seat for a bit? I must admit that I haven't got anything good to say about Renaults...never got on with them...weird mechanics (says me with a 2-stroke car). You made me smile with your Exchange & Mart comment but it is sooooo true. I miss that old rag.
