At the moment, the Edenbridge show is going ahead....12th September 2021....at the old site of Gabriel's Showground, Mill Hill, Edenbridge TN8 5PL
It's always been a good show....so I hope this continues this year.
I can't get the links to work but if you cut and paste into the address bar, it works.

Just had an email from the organisers and the show is STILL ON for the 12th Sept I had to go to the website and purchase tickets for £5.?? The odd pence was an agents service price. Not sure if you can pay a fiver at the gate....should be able to as you always could before. If this is like the previous shows it is simply superb with a load of side attractions, music events and 400 plus classic vehicles. Well worth the visit Chaps.

Sorry for the long long awol. I did go 11ovegrace but didn't take the vogue as she started to fart around. Long story short, twas not the spark plugs but a cracked distributor. Really hard to see such a small crack (no not this ). I went with my mate in his e-type - pure class -
I found your Saab with the bonnet up and a few guys looking at your engine bay. You had chairs at the back but no you. We waited and kept coming back every now and then but still not you. I kept asking blokes looking at your car but none of them knew where you'd got too.
Funny little engine in your car - 3 pots and kinda tiny. Here's my mates engine -
Again, sorry for not coming on here for a bit but had loads of family troubles to sort out. I've got a nice brand new patio now

Hi Rob...Nice to see your back (and it would have been nicer to see your front too ) Sorry that we missed each other at Edenbridge classic car show ... I must have been about with the wife looking at all the beautiful cars ...although, could have been stuffing my face at the burger bar or near ...hic! Sorry to hear that you have had troubles but I hope everything is now sorted. I remember seeing the e-type Jag and what a beaut! Is that you in the photo? I thought that it was a good show...some 500 cars I believe. Didn't have as many stalls as previous shows but being the first since the lockdown, they have an excuse. Did you or have you (yet) fitted the cap and is the Singer back on the road? and yes, tiny little 3 pot ...but carrying a large punch! being a stroker ...every stroke is a power stroke so it is comperable to a 6-cylinder.

Class...Pure Class... You can't beat a bit of dotting to help make the world go around Rob.... Looking at this site again I don't think that it has a 'personal mail' system or at least one that works . I only wanted to give you my mobile number to have a chat about the vogue (don't really trust websites ... especially as your photos were duplicated on some web search sites). I'll have to save it until we meet up at a future car show.
Glad to know that your boy isn't letting the side down ...Typical youngster!

There might be some show near Edenbridge (I dont live that far away but far enough).I'm sure we will catch up in person soon mate but I wont write me phone number on an open site - obvious reasons. Dont trust this dam web thingie Looking at your engine bay again - whats that black dangley thingybob seems to be attached to a bulkhead? Dont seem to go anywhere and never seen anything like it - not that I'm familier with tech stuff .

Hi Rob...You unclip it from the bulkhead (it's not in use position) and fit it between the black air filter spout and the exhaust manifold. It is a pre-heater taking warm air from the exhaust manifold up and into the air filter to help keep the carb and/or petrol from freezing in really cold weather. Sweden gets mighty taters at times.

Er, I did respond to your above answer LG but it seems that my bloggy thingie didn't register. Anyways, thanks for that and I now understand what your pre-heater tube does. I don't appear to have one on my Vouge though but nevermind coz my old girl 'aint' coming out of the garage when it's cold.
