These last few weeks I have never felt as old as I am (Makes sense). Getting out of bed is a struggle and not helped by me having a knackered shoulder. Been waiting just over 10 years for the NHS to sort it... MRi, X-ray's, Keyhole poke n hope, and Acupunture but still the pain persists and getting worse ...a lot, lot worse. My only relief is 'Freeze Gel' from Poundland which helps and lasts for a bit (enough to nearly get me off to sleep). In the last two years they have cut the amount down from 400ml to 300ml and now 200ml but the price hasn't dropped in line (Still £1) but a small price to get relief as the tub lasts for ages. It's a bit like Volterol but its nearly 100% natural. Bright blue gel that smell like eucalyptus.
Twas about just over ten years ago when I was trying to move a heavy victorian gate that I fell 15ft down onto a chalk and flint area. The gate followed me and the edge just dug in near my head but not through it (or i'd been a gonner).
Since then it seems that every muscule and joint cries out in pain and bits that dangle don't dingle (well not a lot anyway) 
Haven't been able to drive the Saab as it's fu##ed engine broke two pistons...tried to rebuild but long story and still searching for a replacement (strange, Halfords don't do 2-strokes). Might have to sell the car and the shed load of spare parts (enough to start a small parts department). Well see.
