I attended the above event at a collection based in Potters Bar, Herts as it was a ticket only event to certain clubs I believe. Apparently club Triumph (I think) were asked, and my mate who's in the club got 2 tickets and his original intended "plus one" couldn't go at the last minute. So he rang me this morning just as I was about to start decorating! But the weather was good and the Escort needed a run - and it done run well too!
It is the collection of an octogenarian chap, who sometimes hires out the cars for TV and film work, pop videos or photo shoots or weddings and there are some amazing classy items in there. We were chatting to two of the workers there.
Well here's a few of the collection which also included E types, Rolls Royces, vintage cars and many motorbikes. Also a low mileage ex Jersey Triumph Stag, Jensen FF's, an original Interceptor, Jensen Healey and Jensen Healey GT, recent Ferraris, a 541 and 13 Aston Martin "Wedge" Lagondas! Everything from Bubble cars to top class pre war Bentley.
Top pic is a petrol powered Aston DB6 Volante miniauture childs car - it can do 45 mph

Marvellous! Thanks for that B8R - so he may have a total of 16 Lagondas then! Didn't realise he is one of the top 10 richest men in the country. Amazing.
