Where are the mods? It would appear that the crew have left the sinking ship. This could be a great forum but it has been deserted by everyone save but for a few brave souls. The ship is still afloat...just...Anyone reading this then PLEASE COME TO OUR AID...SOS..SOS..SOS (Save our site).

Incidentally I would most definitely have been a rocker back in the day, could see myself heading down the old A23 to Brighton on a Vincent Black Shadow, a ton up with a young lady on the back, rather than posing about with a parka and a Lambretta with a million wing mirrors...

Mine was a Vespa with chrome bubbles, I know, TART! but I was young and it felt good. Vincent, now that was a real bike - My mate had a Francis Barnet (Fanny B)- Great Days of which my son and his soggy brained 'lights on but no one is at home' mates will never experience.  All they want to look at is the latest app. |

Its the same north of the border too. The only bike I owned was a Honda CB250N Superdream in silver with the blue Honda sign along the side. Electric start and great as a tourer for a beginner. Slow but that suited me. When I moved down to En-ger-land I found that everyone seemed to drive so bloody  and wanted to get there half an hour before they started off. Nutty so this wee lad gave up on bikes and purchased a beat up beetle~ then a green Toyota Corolla KE10 loved that car~ wonder what happened to it I think the number was TYO212F if anyone knows. |
