Nice...Super cool I have seen some guys at classic car shows that take a full size skeleton (?plastic) and place it in the drivers seat ...gets alot of laughs. One year he had a skeleton of a dog (?plastic) on a lead and affixed it to the main skeleton ....looked brilliant. Just think what you could do with the hearst

That the one Rob... when I saw it the guy had it standing up with the dog at the front of the car. I must register for the show myself.....been a bit lazy this year so far and haven't booked any shows as yet...must get my finger out or they will be fully booked up.
Junkyarddog, do you go to any meets? Don't know where abouts you live ... you North, South or Middle bits?

What a beautiful, breathtaking and really green region of the Island of Ireland you live in.....Well done that man! Another nice picture that you have posted. Does that lower compartment go right back (coffin length)? It looks like it has a chrome runner to assist in sliding something. Is it a case for ''Room for one on top'' She just looks in great shape and from what I can see from the bodywork inside and out, well looked after. The little Peugeot looks interesting as well (can't quite make out the other car in the garage) and you have a great garage there (I must be doing something wrong in life....The wife say's Breathing ).

Oh yeah, the lower compartment goes the full length too. The Peugeot is a 1986 205 diesel, and the other car is a 1978 Capri. That's really why I bought the hearse, for it's low mileage 2.0 pinto lump.

Rob, if I didn't know better (and I don't) I would have thought that in your photo that old git in the black 'SAAB' T-shirt was me and the wife having a coffee and burger. I was certainly there at the last show (when we missed each other and I missed your mates red e-type). They haven't opened the booking for one make vehicles yet but soon, I hope.

Junkyarddog, I only go to a few local classic car shows over here in Kent but there is always a huge interest in Capri's (all years)....the teenagers or people around 20's old just adhore them. Of course all other ages too but the kids swarm for these Fords like bees around a honey pot.

Old Ford's are the exact same over here, the Mk2 Escort in particular. They command stupid money for what there are.
My Capri was cheap, the only reason I have it 😁

What colour is she? Looks like sand/beige with a black vinyl roof but it's hard to see on my monitor. I saw a JPS painted one a few shows back and I believe that the asking price was over 50,000 quid .... it put me right off me rice pudding I better stick to me old two strokes.

I've been showing yon wee bonnie hearse to ma mates and Robs bone man and doggie and ma mates just luv em all.As already said, Hoots mon er, we don't really speak like that I'd get that Capri up, polished and used as soon as possible coz in its own way it's a droolworthy cool auld mote mote. That Peugeot 205 got ma mates thumbs up as their favourite oot the three but I still vote for the coffin cruncher especially if yous do a custom on it.

Cannae wait. Tha mia'colmhead air adhart ris (Can't wait. Iooking forward to it) 'Aye,ken ye dinnae spik like at.' Haedna seen Doric written in a long, long time. Northern Scottish is beautiful spik I nearly felt homesick but in truth I t'was sick of home.
I left Scotty land t'wen I was a wee bairn and moved down sarf. Och, I do wonder what my life would have been had I had moved to bonnie Ireland.
