In a pricey underground car park at St John's Wood, London, there was 1979 Toyota Landcruiser 40-Series, imported 2009. Have you seen how much these are worth now!? This one is listed as having the MB diesel and research suggests it was therefore built at the Brazilian plant. Mercedes R107-series 300SL. Can you believe these have doubled in value in recent years. 1949 Cadillac Series-62 Coupe. Imported just last year. Value around $40k, which is quite a bit less that the Landcruiser value, amazingly.

Quantum Saloon, kit build around a Fiesta Mk2 1957 Buick Special, last year for the three-piece rear window. Front would look as this 1961-62 Buick, no Ventiports on front fender, so it's a Special not Skylark. First use of the engine that became the Rover V8 1964 Ford Galaxie 'Country Sedan' (they were all wagons), first year with regulation front lap belts 1935 Packard One-Twenty

It seemed as if everyone was out in their classics oop North today. Sorry no photos as I was busy driving (420 miles in one day in my Rover P6). Then there must have been a classic event at Oulton Park as the Cheshire roads were awash too. P4, P5, Stag, Minis, Mk3 Cortina, Esprit, Jowetts Javelin and Jupiter!

It's MB100 wearing the late-1980s restyle A product of the Spanish plant, a development of the 1960s DKW F1000, hence still FWD Replaced by Vito in Europe, but still built in revised form in Shanghai

A very sorry looking chocolate and cream Wessie or Princess in the aftermath of a nasty shunt at the Glewstone/Llangarron crossroads on the A4137 Hereford - Symonds Yat road. Ambulances had passed me on my way out from Hereford on thecA49 but road was blocked with Police and Fire services still attending.
Luckily (for me at any rate) it was on the far side of the junction that I was turning off at towards Llangarron.
Hopefully only the cars will be writeoffs!
