Aren't there more Citroen Hs over here as food wagons than they've got left in France now?

Survival is really good on those H vans, there are at least 3 french clubs for it In other news I saw this and hankered after it, asking to be kept in mind. it's a 280E, so six cylinder DOHC It is clean and pretty-much rot-free especially for a 'sunroof car', imported from SA ten years ago and stored. Has factory air-conditioning fitted too, although you can't get that gas these days

^ Nice! I assume the air-con system is running R-12 refrigerant, and if so isn't there a substitute available? Conversion is always an option if not, I suppose.

Quite likely. I'm told all unions were changed as part of the 1994 directive, so I'd assume it's more involved as everything will need to removed, adapted or thrown
My Daimler needed R-12 and no local garages I tried had the kit or connectors any more, even on the sly. So I just opened the sunroof and drove it instead.

I bet that was bit bumpy!
Did he know it was a FoMoCo product, yet built at the Mazda plant in Japan

Did he know it was a FoMoCo product, yet built at the Mazda plant in Japan Nnot sure where it was assembled or whether the loading of my sons monkey bike, camping equipment and large quantity of beer helped the ride. Anyone know what the sticker that is next to the steering wheel is about. Attachments:

Interesting... I noticed the plate has 'Brentwood California' as the County of Issuance at the top The dash sticker shows the Campbell Prediction System used by fire crews in California: Nice to see the working history of a fire warden's vehicle being appreciated

I think the plates are more to do with the fact he lives near Brentwood Essex. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a California car though as it's in lovely condition. I'll find out more when they get back next week.
